He was born in Istanbul in March 1984. After attending Ataköy Primary School, he completed his secondary and high school education at Bahçelievler Anatolian High School. He graduated from Marmara University, Faculty of Dentistry, English Department, in 2009. With extensive experience in conferences and seminars, İpek worked at various polyclinics and at Acıbadem Hospital for seven years before joining Özel DoğuDent Oral and Dental Health Polyclinic-Ümraniye in 2019. She continues to work as a General Dentist at the Private DoğuDent Oral and Dental Health Polyclinic in Erenköy.

She primarily focuses on dental prosthetics, aesthetic dentistry, smile design, restorative and endodontic treatments. She has participated in numerous conferences, seminars and training courses since graduating.

She speaks English fluently and has intermediate German language skills.

She is married and has a daughter.
