Dr. Selen Özdemir was born in 1996 in Manavgat, Antalya. After high school education at Manavgat Anatolian High School with success degree, Dr. Selen started her dentistry education at Yeditepe University Faculty of Dentistry for 6 years. She has graduated faculty education with an “Honour Certificate”. She was accepted to the PhD specialisation in the Department of Pediatric Dentistry (Pedodontics) at the University of Saglik Bilimleri. Dr. Selen continues her studies with various experiments and scientific researches in order to provide innovative and natural-source developments in the laboratory environment for Pediatric Dentistry. 

Her first article published in foreign sources is a case report titled “Treatment of Dentigerous Cyst with Transposition of Continuous Tooth Germ”, which successfully combines her academic success. Dr. Selen has clinic experiences in pediatric dentistry and her communication with children is strong. Selen, who comes from a family of professional athletes, is busy with volleyball, horse riding and tennis. Adopting a healthy life philosophy, Selen attaches importance to mind and body health with regular pilates, yoga, nature walks and amateur diving.
